What is Primids?

Primids brings encrypted storage, ToughKey security keys and organisation access controls together in one platform, so sensitive files stay protected and access stays managed. Recovery, permissions and audit are managed parts of the system, and early access is available through the contact route.

What is ToughKey?

ToughKey is the physical security key used with Primids for hardware-backed protection. It anchors the custody model as a hardware key you hold, rather than a cloud-recoverable credential. Key enrolment is how keys are registered and managed against your organisation, and recovery follows an authorised process.

What is key enrolment?

Key enrolment is the process for enrolling and managing ToughKey security keys in Primids. ToughBox is the LokBlok-operated backend used in that process, holding mirrored identity records for enrolled keys. Enrolment does not by itself establish stored private-key contents or key custody.

Can I use Primids now?

Primids is available through early access, so organisations can request access before general availability opens. Contact Primi to discuss getting started, your requirements and the current terms.

Is Primids independently certified?

Primids is not currently FIPS 140-2/140-3 or Common Criteria certified. A physical key and architecture language do not equal independent certification or a particular assurance scope. The security page sets out the architecture and controls relevant to your requirements, and no certification claim is made beyond that disclosure. See for the exact scope.

Which operating systems are supported?

Primids Secure Terminal is available for Windows. Contact Primi for current system requirements, including supported Windows versions, architecture and prerequisites. Download and installer details are confirmed through that conversation while the product is in early access, so no compatibility claim is inferred from the platform description alone.

What happens if I lose a ToughKey?

Revoke the lost key and follow the authorised recovery process. Recovery requires the configured recovery-key threshold and authority checks before replacement enrolment and access restoration. Revoking the key removes its access without exposing protected files, and the recovery path is recorded so the event can be reviewed later.

There is no shortcut that bypasses those checks, and each step is recorded so access changes stay traceable to an authorised request.

Fit, pricing and partner questions

How does pricing work?

Contact Primi for current platform and key pricing, billing terms and availability. Pricing follows your organisation's requirements, and the current charges are confirmed in a quote before any commitment. Billing is handled by card through Stripe, with invoices available in the platform.

Is there an option for individuals?

Yes, individuals are one of the audience paths, including people considering protection for sensitive personal or will-related files. That use case does not confirm estate execution or beneficiary access. Encrypted storage with ToughKey keeps those files protected, and recovery follows the authorised process.

Is there a small-business option?

Yes, Primids is intended for owner-led small businesses as well as individuals. Permissions and audit are live parts of the system. Deployment, integrations, support, and device requirements are not yet confirmed, so teams should treat the offer as early access.

Can real-estate brokerages become resellers?

Real estate is the first reseller focus, and brokerages can register partner interest. Signed partners, approved programme terms, training, economics, support, and fulfilment details are not yet confirmed. Register interest only; do not infer an active reseller contract or certified partner status.
