Hardware-backed protection for sensitive property communications
PrimiDS is in early access for brokerages exploring a differentiated way to handle sensitive transaction files and communications. Recovery, permissions, and audit run as live systems; encrypted storage and secure communications are designed around the ToughKey physical key.
A convincing payment message can still be the wrong instruction
Property transactions move sensitive documents, messages, and payment details between parties. Payment-diversion scams can make a changed request appear routine.
A storage or communications product cannot verify payments, confirm identity, insure a transaction, or replace closing controls.
What is BEC in a property transaction? Impersonation or interception to redirect a payment or sensitive information.
How should changed payment details be handled? Use the brokerage verification process; do not rely on the changed message.
What should a brokerage cybersecurity checklist cover? Protect transaction files; treat changed payment instructions as high-risk; verify through trusted contacts sourced separately; evaluate vendor security before reliance.
PrimiDS is not payment-verification, identity, fraud-prevention, insurance, e-signing, or closing. Brokerages retain established controls.

A physical key and encrypted software, designed as one system
PrimiDS combines encrypted storage and secure communications software with the ToughKey physical key. The intended architecture places the root cryptographic secret in the ToughKey hardware key rather than treating it as a credential recoverable from the cloud.
For a brokerage, that is a different key-custody model to evaluate alongside existing document, email, and transaction processes. It is not a claim that PrimiDS replaces those systems. Product sequence, supported devices, sharing mechanics, and operational details are refined as early access opens. A brokerage should assess whether the ToughKey custody model fits its file-handling, communications, and recovery requirements before adopting it. Recovery is a live PrimiDS system; hardware is not shipping now.

Built to support secure handling—not to run the closing
This page concerns the protection of sensitive files and communications. The checklist above is general risk-management guidance, not a product-capability list. PrimiDS is not presented as a payment-verification tool, identity-verification service, fraud-detection service, e-signing platform, transaction insurance product, or end-to-end closing system.
Brokerages should retain their existing controls for changed payment instructions, identity checks, approvals, escalation, incident response, and transaction compliance. The right controls depend on the brokerage, transaction professionals, and local requirements.
Real estate is Primi’s first reseller focus
Primi is exploring a white-label reseller route beginning with real-estate brokerages. The aim is to let a brokerage assess a security offering without losing sight of its own client relationship. That is a direction for evaluation, not a representation that a brokerage is already authorised to sell, support, or deliver PrimiDS.
PrimiDS is in early access. Eligibility, agreements, onboarding, training, support, fulfilment, pricing mechanics, and availability are set out in the partner agreement, not inferred from this page. Responsibilities and customer-facing commitments belong in that agreement, not on this page.
Evaluate the programme as carefully as the product
Before committing, a brokerage may want clarity on:
- Programme readiness
- Operational ownership
- Physical-key logistics
- Assurance evidence
- Commercial terms
- Which responsibilities would remain with the brokerage, and which would sit with Primi
- How customer questions would be routed
Those are reasonable questions—and several remain open while PrimiDS and the reseller route are developed.
For the current architecture-versus-certification boundary, Primi is not currently FIPS 140-2/140-3 or Common Criteria certified.

Register interest if your brokerage would like updates or a conversation about the PrimiDS reseller route. Use this route to signal evaluation interest; it is not a client rollout or a programme commitment of any kind. Registering interest does not create a partnership, confirm eligibility, or guarantee a response timeframe. PrimiDS is in early access; no checkout, shipping, or general availability is implied.
